The Final Fantasy XIV 6.05 update patch notes have been released, with the Square Enix MMO introducing a number of new features and changes as part of its Endwalker expansion. These include the debut of the Excitatron 6000 treasure dungeon, the Savage version of the Pandæmonium raid, and more.
What’s in the FFXIV 6.05 update patch notes?
The latest FFXIV: Endwalker patch rolled out today, providing players with a litany of new things to do and gear to collect. Endwalker has proven to be an incredibly popular addition to FFXIV — so much so that Square Enix was forced to stop selling it to new players due to its servers being overwhelmed.
But now that FFXIV is back and operational again, its 6.05 update is giving players more content to enjoy. This includes the Excitatron 6000, an elaborately titled new treasure dungeon:
The Excitatron 6000, a special instance similar to the Dungeons of Lyhe Ghiah, can be accessed after finding and opening treasure coffers obtained from kumbhiraskin treasure maps. Here, players will have the chance to test their luck and obtain priceless treasures.
The update also includes the addition of the raid dungeon Pandæmonium: Asphodelos (Savage), which players must use the Raid Finder to register for. Players must speak with Nemjiji in Labyrinthos with a level 90 Disciple of War or Magic after completing the quest “Who Wards the Warders” in order to gain access to this new raid.
Additionally, Allagan tomestones of astronomy have been added, along with new elite marks, new trials to Stone, Sky, and Sea, along with adjusted actions and traits. The full list of patch notes can be read here.
In other news, Sony filed a patent to help PS5 owners stop sucking at their video games. It has also been reported that the PSVR 2 will be entering mass production in China soon.
