Atlus has confirmed that there is no Persona 5 Royal PS5 upgrade path for players who already own the game on the PS4. This may come as a bummer to existing owners because current-gen upgrades have become a norm for last-gen games but nearly two years into the PS5’s lifecycle, Atlus probably doesn’t see a reason to make that offer.
