It’s been over a year since fans first saw Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 in action, running in real-time on the PS5. Since then, it’s been radio silence from developer Insomniac Games, aside from confirming that the game is still planned for 2023. Those hungry for more details may be in luck, however, as Venom voice actor Tony Todd has been teasing “big creative news” on Twitter.

After posting a tweet reading “Big creative news, dropping tomorrow. Stay Tuned!!!”, Tony Todd received multiple comments asking if the news was about Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. One responder, @MARVEL1358, had their comment, which includes a video including the game version of Venom, retweeted.
Though it’s far from an official confirmation that Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 news will be dropping tomorrow, Todd’s Twitter activity has certainly stirred up a bunch of hype.
We at PSLS will be keeping a close eye on Insomniac Games throughout tomorrow. Fingers crossed there is big news!
Microsoft recently admitted that both Marvel’s Spider-Man and God of War are better than Xbox’s exclusives, weirdly enough.
Though it’s only currently announced for PS5, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is expected to eventually launch on PC, as the PC port of the original game proved that Sony’s PC launch strategy is working.
