The Assassin’s Creed Mirage release date has reportedly been delayed to August 2023. While Ubisoft has only publicly revealed a release window of “2023,” reports suggest that the new AC game was initially planned to launch early into the year but, after suffering two internal delays, Mirage will instead be released during August.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage release date delay
The Assassin’s Creed Mirage release date of August 2023 is reportedly the cause of two delays internally.
Reports of an August release date come from Insider Gaming. While IG’s sources noted the two internal delays, they “were unable to give updates” on why exactly it was delayed.
The delay claim is accompanied by speculation about the possibility of hardware limitations causing issues. With Mirage set to launch on both last-gen and current-gen consoles, it certainly seems plausible.
It’s unlikely that Ubisoft will confirm any internal struggles with the game’s development. For now, the official release date is merely “2023,” with plenty of room to maneuver. Expect to hear more about the game as we move into the new year.
Future Assassin’s Creed games, including Mirage, will have varying prices. AC Mirage is set to launch at $50, with the expectation being that it will be a shorter experience.
