Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Season 3 will be released later this month and one of the game’s events will send players on a trophy hunt. There will also be a Camo Challenge event, new weapons, new operators, new maps, returning game modes, and plenty of other features.
Trophy Hunt is the new seasonal event
The Modern Warfare 2 Season 3 Trophy Hunt event will see any eliminated enemy operators drop trophies that players can exchange for rewards like Weapon Blueprints, Vehicle Skins, and Battle Pass Token Tier Skips. There will also be a Camo Challenge event held mid-season.
MW2 Season 3 will also launch with a host of other new features, including:

The midseason update will also introduce more operators, weapons, and a map. Warzone 2 will also get plenty of new additions at the launch of Season 3, such as items, modes, and DMZ features. The biggest improvement, though, will be the introduction of Battle Royale Ranked Play during the midseason update.
Season 3 will launch on April 12.
