Koei Tecmo announced Dynasty Warriors: Origins is getting a demo very soon. The demo for the upcoming action game will be PS5 Pro enhanced, so owners of the improved console can take advantage of the powerful hardware.
When can players check out the Dynasty Warriors: Origins demo?
The Dynasty Warriors: Origins demo will be available for PS5 and PS5 Pro users on November 22, 2024. Although it is announced the demo will be PS5 Pro Enhanced, specifics on how the game utilizes the hardware is not detailed. The franchise is known for incredibly crowded battlefields and frenetic combat, so hopefully its larger GPU and PSSR can keep it all stable.
The demo allows players to play the Battle of Sishui Gate, the same section from the Tokyo Game Show demo. Koei Tecmo has added more elements to the demo making it a “more substantial and challenging battle.” There isn’t a time limit, so players can enjoy it for as long as they like.
The Dynasty Warriors: Origins demo allows players to check out four types of weapons. Sword, Guandao, Pudao, and Wheels are all available to use. Players can also customize arts, gems, and accessories. Additionally, there will be difficulty options, so anyone finding the game too challenging or easy can adjust the difficulty to their liking.
Dynasty Warriors: Origins preorders also go live on November 22, 2024. Those who purchase early will receive the Nameless Warrior Garb costume, a cosmetic based on Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty. Dynasty Warriors: Origins launches January 17, 2024, for PS5.
Dynasty Warriors: Origins is just one of many games receiving specific PS5 Pro enhancements. With the power of a larger GPU, advanced ray tracing, and PSSR, the mid-gen refresh has the potential to maintain high performance at 4K resolution. Some current PS5 Pro enhanced games include Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, Until Dawn, and Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered.
