PS5 accessories come in all kinds of colors. From the pearlescent chroma collection to sneaky camouflage, there is a colorway for just about everyone. However, a trio of accessories is missing a pretty popular color choice. According to a new reports, it seems that is about to change.
PS5 accessories DualSense Edge, Pulse Elite, and Pulse Explore gets a new colorway
According to Dealabs Magazine’s bilbil-kun, the DualSense Edge controller, Pulse Elite wireless headset, and Pulse Explore wireless earphones will reportedly be available in black. These PS5 accessories were previously only available in white excluding the 30th anniversary controller. A release date is not known, but they report it should be announced within a month. Pricing will be the same as the basic white colorway.
This comes hot off the heels of another report from bilbil-kun where they claim some “fresh news” is on the way.
“A PlayStation event is really happening soon? I don’t have the answer, but many PlayStation stuff are being prepared behind the scenes,” said bilbil-kun in a tweet. “Some fresh news are coming.”
Like any rumor, its alright to be a bit doubtful. However, bilbil-kun’s claims are generally accurate, so there is a fairly high possibility this is true. Also, black is probably the least inoffensive colorway for a tech product, so it was just a matter of time these PS5 accessories would receive the basic colorway.
There has been speculation about a potential surprise Sony event for PlayStation due to a recent ad campaign. Bilbil-kun claims they do not have any information on the event. Additionally, journalist Jeff Grubb dismissed these speculations.
There is always a possibility that some of these announcements will be revealed at The Game Awards. The show is arguably more known for its announcements than the actual awards given, so it wouldn’t be a surprise if Sony announced something there.
