Happy Marvel Rivals launch day to those playing the new NetEase Games hero shooter. To celebrate the launch and welcome all the new users to the game, a free Iron Man cosmetic is now available to redeem.
Free Marvel Rivals Iron Man cosmetic is Armor Model 42
The free Marvel Rivals Iron Man cosmetic is named Armor Model 42. It is based on the suit that made its debut in Iron Man #1 in 2012 during the Marvel Now era. Although it looks a bit different, the main characteristics are there. Namely the black and gold colorway with red accents and lighting.
Players can redeem the free Iron Man cosmetic in-game using a “Bundle Code.” Once the game loads to the main menu, press the options button (a.k.a. the hamburger button). This will bring up a pause menu with a couple of options. Choose “Bundle Code” and input the code nwarh4k3xqy. This will instantly unlock the Armor Model 42 costume for Marvel Rivals. This offer is valid until March 5, 2025.
This is just one a several free goodies PS5 players can grab during the Marvel Rivals launch weekend. A Spider-Man skin based on Kaine Parker’s Scarlet Spider is available on the PS Store right now for free. PS Plus subscribers can grab the Peni Park VEN#M suit pack at no additional cost. This includes a symbiote themed cosmetic for Peni Parker and Season Pass tokens.
Marvel Rivals is available now for PS5 and is free-to-play. It features 33 playable heroes and villains, including Captain America, Wolverine, Hulk, Magneto, Psylocke, Squirrel Girl, and many more. Every character is unlocked right from the start.
PS5 Pro enhancements are available for Marvel Rivals. The console’s more powerful GPU, and PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution technology allows the game to run at 60 frames per second at 4K resolution. Base PS5s run the game at 60 FPS at 1440p resolution. It also utilizes Lumen Global Illumination and Lumen Reflections for more immersive and dynamic lighting.
