WWE Smackdown vs RAW 2011 doesn’t ‘slam’ into your console until the end of October, but that hasn’t stopped THQ from detailing their DLC plans for the title. Seeing as how THQ has joined the ‘Buy the game new and receive free premium DLC and free online’ movement, those looking to receive some free content might want to buy this game new to save yourself $10 in the future.
After dropping the ball on last year’s DLC support, THQ has promised to change their ways. New Wrestlers, Arenas, and outfits will be made available for free and premium prices after launch. Buying the game new will net you:
- Chris Masters (Playable Character)
- Rey Mysterio’s ‘Dia de los Muertos’ Halloween attire.
- Kelly Kelly’s ‘Devil’ Halloween attire.
So for those of you who are willing to pay the higher cost of a new game, the above content is free. For those of who buy it used, $9.99 will be the asking price via the PSN for the DLC and the ability to play online.
