Square Enix has announced when PSP owners can look forward to their latest RPG, Lord of Arcana. The publisher has also confirmed a simultaneous retail and PSN release for the title.
Square Enix has announced that Lord of Arcana is scheduled for a release on January 25th in North America. The game is set for a simultaneous release in stores and the PlayStation Network. The PSP exclusive features both single player and a local cooperative mode which supports up to four players.
In Lord of Arcana, players will be able to customize their characters with weapons, armor and outfits. The story, meanwhile, is based on a powerful stone called Arcana – that is the “source of all order in the world”. Players will need to hunt batches of monsters if they want to discover the stones’ secrets.
2011 is already shaping up to be a busy period for followers of PSP RPGs – namely multiplayer monster hunting games. Capcom will be bringing Monster Hunter Portable 3rd, while D3Publisher has also said it plans to bring the God Eater franchise to North America.
