Earlier this year, in the days leading up to E3, Sony announced the third PlayStation 3 game in the Motorstorm series, Motorstrom Apocalypse. In the following months, Evolution studios have been quiet on the details, until earlier this week when we got a few images from a new track titled ‘Skyline’. Now, the developer has released new information on what to expect in the coming months.
Today on the PSBlog, Evolution Studios has posted a recap of a recent event held in New York. First up they posted a trailer of the new Skyline track. This track really showcases just how much the game will change now that it has taken the event to a more urban setting.
Here is a quick rundown of the more interesting additions:
- Player customization
- Stereoscopic 3D
- New Photo Mode
- New taunts and gestures
They also discussed that they will be quite busy with new content hitting the PlayStation Store, Avatars, Themes, exclusive content for PlayStation Plus subscribers, and plenty of trailers and developer diaries. They have plans for post release content as well, with the developer hoping to release one island track for free. They also said that they would be releasing a demo sometime before the Spring 2011 release date.
