The Street Fighter x Tekken match up has all but dropped off the face of the planet with no news dropping from either side of the two-part project in since it’s debut last Summer. It seems ‘mums’ been the word for both Capcom and Namco, unless the dry spell finally comes to an end as one lead producer suggests.
Yoshinori Ono, the mastermind producer behind the Street Fighter series and the head of Capcom’s Street Fighter x Tekken, has been known for his revealing tweets. Recently when asked when more info regarding the game would drop, Ono tweeted:
We are preparing to make announce for SFxTK!
No release date has been set for either Capcom or Namco’s portion of the legendary match-up, only a rough estimation of 2012 from Ono back in July.
