Rockstar Looking for GTA V Voice Actors?

Grand Theft Auto IV released in late 2008, and while episodic DLC has since been released, we have yet to see much in the way of a true sequel. It looks like Rockstar Games is gearing up for something related to the series if a recent casting call is to be believed.

As spotted on actorspages.com, a website for actors to find gigs, a “PRIVATE” listing in New York has been filed which is calling for voice over actors. There are currently five character slots available, described as such:

Matthew: (18-25 Male United States) – A liberal young male who believes in a conspiracy made by republicans to undermine America.

Jose: (30-40 Male United States) – A white creepy man who thinks that technology is a poison against the wilderness.

James Pedeaston: (40-45 Male United States) – A man-boy love activist who just got released from an Indonesian prison.

Samantha: (20-25 Female United States) – A young female obsessed with sex parties, always dreaming of being a Hollywood celebrity.

Anthony: (10-15 Male United States) – A young, fast-talking boy fighting for the right of young boys to drink alcohol and have sex.

While each of these characters would sound perfect in the sleazy world of Grand Theft Auto, one in particular stands out – James Pedeaston. He is the only character given a last name, and as it turns out that is because he was featured on “The Wild Traveler” segment in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas‘ in-game “WCTR” radio station. In the game, this character would read his logs about traveling the world, which would quickly devolve into disturbing accounts of his time with young boys. In Grand Theft Auto IV it is revealed via in-game website freejames.org that he has been arrested in Bali, Indonesia, which ties into the character’s profile above. Rockstar Games is also situated in New York City, which is where this listing is purported to be from. So, are these characters that we are going to see/hear/read about in Grand Theft Auto V? Stay connected with PlayStation LifeStyle for any more tidbits of information that we come across.
