A number of famous actors and actresses will be voicing the characters of Dishonored.
Bethesda has announced a high profile celebrity voice cast for the first-person action game, which spans celebrities who have starred in many notable films or television programs. First, they announced that Oscar winner and five-time nominee Susan Sarandon (Thelma & Louise, Dead Man Walking) will be making her video game voice acting debut in Dishonored. She voices former aristocrat Granny Rags, an “intriguing” old blind woman who has become deranged after spending years of her life on the streets.
Brad Dourif (Wormtongue from Lord of the Rings) voices Piero, the inventor of Corvo’s mask and many of his gadgets. Famous Star Wars actress Carrie Fisher is the voice of government propaganda over the loudspeakers of the game’s city of Dunwall.
The Adjustment Bureau and Mad Men star John Slattery has taken the role of Admiral Havelock, a Loyalist who aids Corvo. Meanwhile, Reservoir Dogs‘ “Mr. Blonde,” Michael Madsen, will voice an assassin named Daud.
Chloë Grace Moretz (Hit-Girl from Kick-Ass) will portray Young Lady Emily, the daughter of the Empress who gets kidnapped after her mother’s death. 300 and Game of Thrones actress Lena Headey will take on the role of Calista, Young Lady Emily’s caretaker.
Even the music of Dishonored has a kind of celebrity element to it, as Dexter composer Daniel Licht is creating the game’s score.
