If you’ve checked your PSN messages within the last few hours, some of you may have noticed that there is something from Sony about a $10 PSN credit. Inside, the message thanks you for being a “loyal customer and fan of the PlayStation Network” and they are giving you $10 to spend on the PlayStation Store.
Based on the fact that many of the PSLS staff in North America (and many people on Twitter, forums) have received these codes, but not anyone outside of NA (sorry, Sebastian), this doesn’t seem to be a worldwide promotion. Also, we haven’t been able to find any sort of criteria that made you eligible for this, so be sure to check your messages as the code to add the funds to your wallet expires on March 5th.
For anyone who didn’t receive the $10 though, Joystiq found that many people on Twitter had tweeted about receiving a $5 credit last week, meaning that you should really check your PSN messages right now.
Were you one of the lucky ones to get the $5 or $10? What will you spend it on? Let us know in the comments below.
