- If some signage sent out to GameStop stores today is to be believed, a new Batman game will be revealed next month. There’s been rumors for a few weeks now suggesting we’d be hearing about Rocksteady’s new game soon, so there is a chance this will happen. Assuming it does, we’ll let you know all about it once it’s revealed. [Source]
- As Warner Bros. has acquired the rights, a new report states that a live-action Minecraft movie is on the way. We’ll have to wait for more information, but Markus “Notch” Persson did joke around by saying, “Someone is trying leak the fact that we’re working with Warner Brothers on a potential Minecraft Movie. - Naval Strike is a new map pack for Battlefield 4 set to release in late March to all Premium members, with everyone else getting it two weeks later. Included in the new content is an amphibious hovercraft vehicle, four all-new multiplayer maps (Lost Islands, Wave Breaker, Nansha Strike, Operation Mortar), and the new Carrier Assault mode, which is a re-imagining of the Titan Mode from Battlefield 2142. - Starbreeze (PayDay 2, Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons) released their 2nd half of 2013 financials this week, with the company reporting that Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons began generating revenue between October – December. They also confirmed that new PayDay 2 content will be worked on for 2 years (most will likely be on PC), with PayDay 2 being a huge success for the company, achieving the 5th largest player community on Steam at over 350,000 people. - With all the censorship news surrounding South Park: The Stick of Truth, European ratings board PEGI has revealed that the “game was assessed by us and deemed acceptable for a PEGI 18 rating.” They then added, “We did not censor or edit the game in any shape or form.” So, aside from Germany, Ubisoft’s censoring in the EMEA region was completely up to them. - PopCap Games is quite busy right now, with Franchise Marketing Manager Gary Clay saying, “We’re working on Peggle 2, and we’re working on updates for Peggle 2 and looking at bringing that to other platforms in future, and new IP as well. So expect to see a lot more from PopCap HD coming forward.” If Peggle 2 ever gets confirmed for PlayStation, we’ll let you know. [Source]
- If you’re wondering where the Foursquare app for PlayStation Vita is, well, it was taken down from the PlayStation Store on February 11th/12th, with no new updates planned. According to an email sent out, the app won’t load after April 1st, though you can still use your Foursquare account on other devices. [Via, Source]
- In the lead-up to inFamous: Second Son on March 21st, some new viral websites about Conduits have popped up and are definitely worth taking a look at: ConduitRightsLeague, EnjoyYourPower, and BioFrameDiagnostics.
- The Double XP for Extinction in Call of Duty: Ghosts has now begun across all platforms. You have until March 3rd to take advantage of the boost. [Twitter]
- At least for this quarter, Harmonix expects re-secure all licenses for this quarter when it comes to Rock Band DLC. What this means for you is that no songs should be removed from the Rock Band Music Store this quarter. [Source]
- The Hotline Miami Twitter account has said, “Big reveal at E3 this year so make sure to wear fresh underwear.” We don’t know what it is, but they did jokingly add, “The big reveal for Hotline Miami 2 is that opening doors is now an in-app purchase.” [Twitter 1, 2]
- Likely only in the UK, Namco Bandai has confirmed that pre-orders for Dark Souls 2 are up 50% over the original Dark Souls. [Source]

- Warframe’s next PS4 update has taken two tries to pass certification, which is what has been causing the delay. A launch date should happen soon for the update. [Twitter]
