Following sales of over 1.5 million since launch through the PlayStation Store, Minecraft: PS3 Edition is getting a retail version on May 14th in Europe and May 16th in North America. No price was announced, but given that the Xbox 360 version is $19.99 at retail, it should be $19.99.
The retail version of Minecraft: PS3 Edition will come bundled with all the content up to Title Update 14/patch 1.04, meaning that you will have to download the newly released patch 1.05 to have the most recent version of the game (patch 1.06 is being worked on right now).
