EA Sports has just unveiled the cover athlete for the latest iteration of their phenomenal NHL series. Patrick Kane, of the Chicago Blackhawks, will grace this years cover. At 20 years old, Kane is the youngest player to be showcased on the cover.
“It’s exciting to be on the cover of my favorite videogame after playing just my second year as a professional,” Kane said. “When you look back at some of the great players who have had this opportunity, it’s an honor to be a part of the EA Sports family and contribute to a game I’ve been playing for more than 10 years.”
At the time of this writing, the PS3 cover has not been revealed. NHL 2010 is being penciled in for a September release.
