While the official release of NBA 2K16 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC may not be happening until September 29, those who pre-ordered will be able to get their copy tomorrow, September 25.
If you want to pick up NBA 2K16 as soon as possible, GameStop and Walmart will be holding midnight openings tonight:

GameStop adds, “On Thursday, September 24, roughly 3,000 GameStop store locations will remain open late to allow customers who have pre-ordered the game to pick-up their copy of the “Tip-Off” edition simultaneously across the country at 12:01am EDT (9:01pm PDT).”
If you want to trade in your copy of NBA 2K16, GameStop is offering $30 credit until October 28.
2K also revealed this new trailer for NBA 2K16, explaining that “Head to Head online games now matter. Wins and losses count toward reaching goals and new league seeds.”
