With an April 26 release date now in place, Naughty Dog is beginning to order all hands to the pump in anticipation of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End.
Entering the fabled crunch mode, a term in software development for that all-important period close to a deadline, the sequel’s Creative Director Neil Druckmann recently took to Twitter to share the following message.

Bearing in mind that Uncharted 4 has now been delayed twice, this is by no means the first time that Naughty Dog has neared a deadline, though all signs point to the studio hitting the April target.
Emerging from a somewhat troubled production, the creative team at Naughty Dog have continually hinted that A Thief’s End may very well be the last chapter in the story of Nathan Drake — at the very least, it appears it will be hard to create a sequel that includes our swashbuckling hero after Uncharted 4 releases. Smoke and mirrors, or genuine tease?
All will be revealed when Uncharted 4 rappels onto PlayStation 4 come April 26.
