To get you excited for the new Battlefield releasing later this year, EA announced today that they’ll be giving away Battlefield 4 and Battlefield Hardline DLC for free over the next few months:
A new Battlefield is coming later this year, and we’re celebrating by keeping the action going in Battlefield 4 and Battlefield Hardline. Over the next few months we’ll be giving away previously released expansion packs for both games to anyone playing on Xbox One, Xbox 360, Origin for PC, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 3. There are also new Community Missions and a whole lot more to get excited about.
First up, from May 3 to May 10, Dragon’s Teeth for Battlefield 4 and Robbery for Battlefield Hardline are free on the PlayStation Store, with both games discounted to $9.99.
Additionally, a new mission in Battlefield 4 asks players to reach 2.5 million Melee Kills in multiplayer to get a Gold Battlepack, while Hardline tasks you with scoring 300,000 points in Heist mode. These missions are active from May 3 at 9am PT until May 10 at 9am PT.
