Original Story:
Over at the Anime Expo 2016 panel, Zero Escape creator Kotaro Uchikoshi announced that Spike Chunsoft will be bringing the first title in the series to more platforms. Titled 999: Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors, the game was originally released for Nintendo DS back in 2009 and later saw an iOS release in 2013.
Uchikoshi didn’t mention what platforms the game will be headed to, but if previous teases by him and Spike Chunsoft are anything to go by, we’ll see a PlayStation Vita and PC version.
Folks over at RPG Site managed to grab a brief clip of the upcoming port’s preview, which you can watch below.

The latest game in the series, Zero Time Dilemma, recently released for Vita, 3DS and PC to very positive reviews. PSLS’ Jowi praised it for its excellent narrative, characters, and heavy themes. In case you haven’t read his review yet, you can find it here.
