Update: Sony originally announced the wrong games for PlayStation Plus. The article has been corrected to include the correct games for North America.
Every month PlayStation Plus subscribers gain access to six games for free. It’s an incredible value, and sometimes some absolute gems are being given away. Other times, they’ll be titles that most owners have never heard of before let alone thought about playing. Thankfully, we know a thing or two about PlayStation games, and we’re willing to help out.
In order to make sure that you know your September PS Plus games, we’ve put together an article that’ll give you the 411 on all six games. We’ll tell you whether or not a game is worth your time, and link to our review (if we have one) so you can do some additional reading. That way you can better decide which titles to check out, and which ones to pass over. After all, while these games might be free, your time is equally important.

inFamous: Second Son (PS4)
One of the PS4's earliest high profile titles, inFamous: Second Son is an excellent open-world game. Players get to enjoy a virtual Seattle, and get to decide between playing as good or evil.
-
Strike Vector Ex (PS4)
Featuring intense and challenging combat, Strike Vector Ex is a worthwhile flight combat game. It sadly lacks a meaningful story, but the action makes up for it.
-
Truck Racer (PS3)
Truck Racer is a racing game that features fully destructible trucks, and 48 tracks in total. It has some technical issues, but also provides some decent fun for a budget priced title (or free in this case).
-
Handball 2016 (PS3)
The real sport of handball is quite a lot of fun, but Handball 2016 isn't exactly PES in terms of quality. It's unique enough to launch once or twice, but it won't be entertaining you for hours.
-
Hatoful Boyfriend (Vita)
At face value, Hatoful Boyfriend is a hilarious dating simulator starring birds. It's only when the player digs further that they realize how dark its story gets.
It's also cross buy with PS4.
-
We Are Doomed (Vita)
We Are Doomed is a colorful shooter. It doesn't have a ton of staying power, but you'll enjoy your time with it.
It's also cross buy with PS4.

RIGS Mechanized Combat League (PSVR)
RIGS Mechanized Combat League is one of PlayStation VR's best multiplayer offerings. Just make sure to use the comfort settings if you get motion sick easily!
