Announced earlier today, Dead Rising 4 is coming to the PlayStation 4 in the from of Dead Rising 4: Frank’s Big Package . In addition to being the complete package with all DLC, the game will be getting more than a dozen Capcom heroes for Frank West to not only dress up as, but take on some of their powers as well. Capcom detailed this new addition when they announced Frank’s Big Package.
While obviously, the main attraction is the core Dead Rising 4 experience, the studio has been busy working on the all-new Capcom Heroes addition. Being able to play with the powers and costumes of some of our favourite Capcom characters has been really fun and we think players are going to get a kick (or punch!) out of it too. We’re going to be rolling out over a dozen heroes that Frank will be able to embody in the game, but so far, we’ve shown Sissel from Ghost Trick, X from the Mega Man series and Street Fighter’s Cammy.
We already know that the Dead Rising 4 Capcom heroes will include Street Fighter’s Cammy and Zhangief (seen in screenshot above), Mega Man X, and Sissel from Ghost Trick, but with at least eight more heroes to be announced, we couldn’t help but think about suggestions for where Capcom could pull in additional ideas.
Capcom has a library of fascinating, powerful, and goofy characters that could all help make Frank West look fabulous and take out the undead with style. These are the Dead Rising 4 Capcom heroes that we’d love to see Frank West take on the persona of when Frank’s Big Package comes out later this year.
This is just the latest in announcements of crazy video game crossovers this week, including Sonic Forces getting costumes for other Sega and Atlus characters, and Final Fantasy XV getting Assassin’s Creed DLC. We took the opportunity to detail some other crazy video game crossovers we’d like to see, and apparently Capcom didn’t want to be left out of the fun.
Did we miss any Dead Rising 4 Capcom heroes that you want to see Frank West become later this year? Be sure to throw your suggestions for outfits and powers in the comments below.

Dead Rising 4 Capcom Heroes We Want to See
With over a dozen Capcom heroes coming as outfits and abilities to Dead Rising 4 , these are the ones we most want to see.
Jill Valentine - Resident Evil
Let's face it, it's gotta be blue halter top Jill for it to be goofy enough to warrant inclusion. Anything else just doesn't define West as looking like this iconic character. Powers could include the crazy spider-like control device from Resident Evil 5, and just being a crack shot with that pistol.
Amaterasu - Okami
We're not quite sure how this one would work. Does Frank get down on all fours, or is he a standing Ammy? This god from the Okami series developed a lot of really cool powers, but we'd most like to see what Frank can do to zombies with a paintbrush.
Nemesis - Resident Evil
If you can't beat 'em, join 'em, right? While Nemesis isn't exactly your traditional zombie, he was the result of an experiment gone very wrong (or right, if you're a bad guy looking for a nightmare faced killing machine). What better way to show zombies that you are more powerful than them, than by dressing up as a legend among zombie kind?
Arthur - Ghosts 'n Goblins
Let's give Frank West a suit of armor that degrades as he takes damage, eventually leaving him in his red polka-dot boxers when he's almost out of health. The polka-dots have been represented by many things over the years, including hearts, strawberries, and traditional dots.
Zero - Mega Man
We already know that Frank will be able to become Mega Man X, we thought it would be too easy to do a gallery full of all the Mega Men. Instead, we chose one other Mega Man character: Zero. Mostly we just wanted to give frank a chance to rep some long blonde locks while wearing a red robo-suit of death.
Asura - Asura's Wrath
Maybe he's not the most iconic costume that we've suggested, but imagine Frank having the ability to sprout between six and eight arms to just wail on all of the zombies around him?
Albert Wesker - Resident Evil
Of course we choose the one picture of the guy without his sunglasses, which would have to be a part of Frank West's dress up. Wesker has had a litany of powers throughout the series, and we'd be happy with Frank getting any of them. Powers like betraying your friends, coming back from the dead, coming back from the dead again. And again. And being pure evil.
Blanka - Street Fighter
Frank West could easily Hulk out and become Blanka. Blanka's size and strength would make punching lots of zombies a delight.
Chris Redfield - Resident Evil
We're talking ridiculously buff, BSAA Chris Redfield here. His powers would include yelling "Sheva!" a lot until zombies get fed up with listening to him and wander away.
Dante - DmC
Can't mention Capcom characters without bringing up everyone's favorite '90s edge-lord, Dante. This outfit wouldn't really give Frank any powers, but he would have attitude. Killing zombies with a sneer on his face and snarky comments throughout boosts his own self-esteem as his ego blows through the roof.
Dante - Devil May Cry
Didn't think we'd leave you hanging, did we? This is the real Dante we want to see Frank West become, white wig, crimson coat, and all. Being able to combo the hell out of the denizens of the dead, swapping between swords and guns, all while looking like a stylish devil himself? This one's almost a shoo-in.
Vergil - Devil May Cry
If you aren't a fan of red, maybe you'll want to dress Frank up in blue. Vergil is Dante's brother with some pretty stylish moves of his own, wielding a katana to slice and dice the zombie scourge. If we're going to include both Dantes, we have to give a nod to his brother too.
Legion - Mass Effect
"But wait," I can hear you saying. " Legion isn't a Capcom character!" Astute observation Sherlock, but their inclusion here is due to D.C. Douglas voicing both Legion and Albert Wesker, and this phenomenal video that Keri Honea showed me that bridges the gap for the two of them. Besides, who doesn't want to see Frank West as a sentient hive mind?
Chuck Greene - Dead Rising 2
Frank doesn't have to go too far from home for this one. Bleach his hair, find a spiffy yellow motorcycle jacket, and suddenly he's star of Dead Rising 2 , Chuck Greene, who somehow always has access to an enormous chainsaw paddle.
Frank West - Dead Rising
We not cosplay as himself? Maybe old Franky is getting a little bigaround the middle, but he's trying to fit into his old clothes from Dead Rising 1. Maybe he's trying to recapture the essence of his youth. Or maybe Capcom could actually add an old low-res character model, or at least low res clothing, for Frank to wear.
Felicia - Darkstalkers
Meow! Frank's recent trip to Japan got him enamored with wearing cat ears, and now he's taken things a little too far. From the long luscious blue locks, to the cat paws, we'd love to see Frank become exceptionally agile in leaping around and slaying zombies while doing his best to keep his naughty bits barely hidden.
Marvel Characters
It's no secret that Capcom and Marvel have a close relationship. Marvel vs. Capcom is an ongoing series that fans have loved for years, so it's not too absurd to think that maybe some of those outfits and powers make their way over to Dead Rising 4 . Frank West as Captain America, Iron Man, or even Rocket Raccoon? I'd be happy to see at least one Marvel hero become a Frank West costume.
Phoenix Wright - Ace Attorney
Those zombies better lawyer up, because Frank West is slicking back his hair and putting on a suit. Why utilize violence against the undead when you could just take legal action on all of the harm and horror that they've caused?
Miles Edgeworth - Ace Attorney
Bearing similar powers to Pheonix, Miles is who you would choose to be if you like red and a ruffled ascot, because we all know style is half the battle.
Apollo Justice - Ace Attorney
Apollo's only power is a big pile of disappointment. The zombies just feel let down that they don't get to try to chow down on somebody far more worthwhile.
Viewtiful Joe - Viewtiful Joe
Viewtiful Joe can control time, which would be an excellent power against the undead. Speeding it up and slowing it down could really help Frank as he seeks to fight off the repeated spats of bad luck he's had getting caught in this apocalyptic situations.
R. Mika - Street Fighter V
You can thank our own Elizabeth Henges for this horrifying and yet somewhat alluring suggestion. We've already seen that Frank can pull off that Cammy outfit, so it's not too much of a stretch to put him in R. Mika's attire. Given that the camera is always behind Frank though, this could either be the best costume or a very psychologically damaging experience.
