The PlayStation Plus lineup is always announced at the end of the month, but it looks like the PlayStation Plus games for November 2018 have already been revealed via an advertisement on PlayStation’s official website (as spotted by @Nibel on Twitter). It appears November will bring us Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition and Yakuza Kiwami.
Bulletstorm is an over the top, cult-classic of sorts. This first-person shooter puts an emphasis on style, with Skillshots being a big part of the gameplay. Bulletstorm was originally released in 2011, and Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition brought a definitive, high-resolution experience of the game to PlayStation 4 in 2017. As stated in our review, “Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition is a fun trip down memory lane. A bloody, violent, slick memory lane.”
Yakuza Kiwami is a remake of the original Yakuza game, originally released in 2016 for Japan and 2017 in the United States. Like most of the Yakuza games, Yakuza Kiwami was generally well-received. This title gives modern gamers a chance to experience the PS2 original in a much more enjoyable way.
Overall, the theme of November’s line-up seems to be high-resolution nostalgia trips and honestly, that’s pretty exciting. For the most part, people just want quality games they may not have gotten around to and both of these titles seem to fit the bill.
