New For Honor Character Announced by Ubisoft

Sakura is Heading to For Honor Alongside a New In-Game Event

A new character is joining For Honor as part of an in-game event called Shadows of the Hitokiri. Sakura is a possessed samurai, and she is referred to as the Spirit of Death. Make sure you make time for this one, as it is only available from June 10-27, 2019.

The Shadows of the Hitokiri event will also include a new game mode called Soul Rush. This will offer new spectral appearance options, allowing players to customize their characters even further.

For Honor launched on February 14, 2017 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. It features a unique melee combat system which allows players to engage in fluid battles. The game has a single player story for players who prefer that type of experience. For those who prefer playing online, For Honor allows players to choose one of three different factions to join: The Knights, The Samurai, and The Vikings. Players are not limited in terms of which characters they would like to use though, because after choosing their faction, players can use characters from all three factions in battle.

Players can also customize their respective combatant’s appearance with various different paint jobs and armor pieces. Each piece of armor can have different levels of quality too, including Common, Rare, Heroic, Epic, and Legendary. The same can be said for a character’s weapons. Players can choose between different hilts, guards, blades, and more. As players level up, they will also unlock new skills which they can set into a custom loadout to use in the mode of their choosing.
