Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 campaign will unlock early for some players tomorrow, October 20th, and Activision has now revealed what time players in various regions can jump in. In addition to this, we now have pre-load times for the full game, which will launch on October 28th. The information below only applies to the main game, not Warzone 2.0, which will be a separate release on November 16th.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 campaign early access times and pre-load info
Those who have pre-ordered Modern Warfare 2 digitally will be able to play the campaign on October 20th at the following times:
- 10 am PT
- 11 am MT
- 12 pm CT
- 1 pm ET
- 6 pm BST
- 7 pm CEST
In Japan/Australia/New Zealand, the campaign will unlock the following day (October 21st) at the following times:
- 2 am JST
- 4 am AEST
Those who’ve pre-ordered a physical copy of the game will have to wait until launch day on October 28th to play.
As for pre-loading Modern Warfare 2, you can begin downloading the full game at 4 am PT (regional rollout) on PlayStation platforms starting October 19th. To convert this time into your regional time, use this time and date converter.
