Naughty Dog has announced The Last of Us board game, in case you haven’t had enough of the franchise. In development at Themeborne, The Last of Us: Escape the Dark will feature the same cooperative and easy-to-understand gameplay that Themeborne’s Escape the Dark series is known for. Interestingly, it doesn’t look like Sony is funding the project because the developer will be running a Kickstarter campaign to raise funds for it.
The Last of Us board game’s Kickstarter campaign will go live on November 8th
For those curious about Themeborne’s “dark twist” on the video game series, the board game’s Kickstarter campaign will go live next Tuesday, November 8th. That’s one day before God of War Ragnarok will launch, in case you want something to remember the date by. “With Themeborne’s penchant for bold art and approachable game design going into the development of The Last of Us: Escape the Dark, we can’t wait to see how they realize the world of The Last of Us in a brand-new way,” Naughty Dog wrote.
From the looks of it, the board game will be all black and white, and yes, you’ll get to play as Joel and Ellie. Anyone looking forward to this one?
