Final Fantasy 16 preorders will reportedly go live in December, well ahead of the PS5 game‘s expected summer 2023 release. That’s according to known insider Tom Henderson, who claims to have heard that preorders will begin early next month, possibly coinciding with an announcement at The Game Awards 2022.
A new trailer will reportedly accompany Final Fantasy 16 preorders
Henderson’s source claims that Square Enix plans to release a new trailer alongside announcing preorders, which are expected to go live either on December 8th or 9th. The Game Awards 2022 will take place on Thursday, December 8th. The insider isn’t sure if the announcement will be made during TGA or if Sony/Square Enix have a separate announcement planned.

We don’t expect a PlayStation State of Play or Square Enix showcase to be held around the same time as The Game Awards considering the latter is one of the biggest events of the year will be dwarf any other showcase. But Sony has been randomly dropping news via the PlayStation Blog lately so you never know.
