Rumor has it that Guerrilla Games’ Horizon Zero Dawn has been delayed to 2017. The news was first leaked by a well-known industry insider who goes by name of Shinobi602 on NeoGAF and Twitter. According to him, the game will be headed to the rumored PS4K as well. He tweeted:
Well…Horizon: Zero Dawn’s getting delayed to early 2017 from what I’m told.
Going to look splendid on PS4k though.
Clarifying the latter part of his tweet, he said he didn’t mean the developer will cut corners for the standard PS4 version:
The whole point of the 4k is better looking games, that’s all I meant. This is Guerrilla we’re talking about. Vast majority of this game’s development has been on the PS4. They’ve always done well in the performance department. I don’t think there’s a reason to fear for anything.
Worth noting that Shinobi602 is known for his accurate leaks but until Guerrilla offers an official confirmation, we have to treat this as a rumor.
