PSVR Bike Accessory Spotted on Amazon

What may be the first peripheral for PlayStation VR (PSVR) has surfaced on online retailer Amazon and it’s an exercise bike, of all the things.

It’s called a “VirZoom Virtual Reality Bike” made by Cokem International, specifically with the VirZoom games in mind, which are included with the accessory (five games total). The handlebars are controllers that include action buttons, triggers, and a d-pad. However, you steer the bike by leaning your body to the side you wish to turn instead of using the d-pad. The wireless sensors on the bike will measure your pedaling speed as well, so the faster you pedal, the faster you move in the game too.

The bike even folds up for easy storage.

It’s an interesting idea to spiffy up your workout at home, but you’ll have to shell out an additional $400 just for this peripheral alone. Of course that doesn’t include the PlayStation 4 or PSVR headset required.

The PSVR bike accessory is also compatible with Oculus Rift and the HTC Vive. Cokem International plans for mobile VR support in the near future.
