Update 3 (October 10):
Red Dead Revolver is back up on the Australian PlayStation Store for PS4. If the listing stays up this time, expect it to be available in North America/Europe on October 11.
In the meantime, you can read the full Trophy list over here.
[Thanks, Aaron]
Update 2 (September 13):
Red Dead Revolver wasn’t released today in North America or Europe, so it appears as though Sony published it too early. We’ll let you know when it’s back up on the PlayStation Store.
Update:
The listing on the Australian PlayStation Store has now been removed.
Original Story:
Without any warning, Rockstar Games has released PlayStation 2 game Red Dead Revolver for PlayStation 4. Only available in Australia so far, it could come to North America and/or Europe tomorrow when the PlayStation Store updates in those regions.
Since it’s priced at $22.95 in Australia, Red Dead Revolver should be $14.99 USD/£11.99, based on the pricing of other PS2 games on PS4. As the PlayStation Store listing also shows, Red Dead Revolver is a 2.2GB download and it includes full 1080p up-rendering and enhanced features such as Trophies, Shareplay, Remote Play, Activity Feeds, and Second Screen support for game manuals with PS Vita or PS App.
Here’s the description for Red Dead Revolver:
Vast, rugged, and lawless. As a young man, you were helpless to prevent the slaughter of your family at the hands of bandits. Many years later, you live as a bounty hunter bringing criminals to justice, while struggling to unravel the mystery of your past. You must find those who murdered your family. Then, you will take your revenge.
A blazing arcade-style third person game fuelled by precision gunplay, Red Dead Revolver is a classic tale of vengeance on the untamed frontier.
You can see if Red Dead Revolver comes to North America or Europe tomorrow by following the PlayStation Store links.
Do you think Rockstar will bring Red Dead Redemption to PS4 next?
