On Twitter today, Sony Interactive Entertainment announced that your PlayStation 4 Trophies will now “sync much more quickly.”
While the PlayStation Twitter account didn’t specify platforms, the PlayStation Europe account said it only affects your PS4 Trophies:
Good news! Your trophies will now sync much quicker than ever before on your PS4, so it’ll be easier to show off your achievements! pic.twitter.com/x0ZgiFu4Wp

GameSpot said syncing to the server is noticeably faster on PS4, but you still have to manually go to the Trophies section to begin the synchronization.
It remains to be seen if the faster Trophy syncing is the reason the PSN was down earlier today.
