The event will offer “a look into the future of PlayStation 5.” The whole affair will last around 40 minutes, and will include updates from PlayStation Studios as well as “some of the industry’s most imaginative developers” (read: third-party studios). “You’ve been awfully patient, and we thank you for that,” SIE Content Communications’ Senior Director, Sid Shuman, wrote on the PlayStation Blog. “And now we’re looking forward to showing you what we’ve been working on.” He asked fans to stick around after the showcase for more updates from the studios featured in the presentation.
Shuman also noted that the next generation of PlayStation VR won’t make an appearance at the event. However, there will be “plenty of great PS5 games from developers large and small.”
PlayStation LifeStyle will be hosting the livestream as usual so don’t forget to tune in and watch the highly-anticipated showcase with us. If rumors are true, we’ll finally see the upcoming God of War, and maybe – just, maybe, we’ll find out what the deal is with Abandoned.
