A new PS5 bundle with two DualSense controllers has appeared online, complete with updated packaging. News of Sony releasing this bundle first emerged yesterday on a German website. We initially disregarded the report but later found listings for the PS5 “Two DualSense Wireless Controllers Bundle” on known retailers’ websites.
PS5 bundle with two controllers apparently releasing within a month
According to folks over at WinFuture.de, the new digital and disc PS5 bundles will launch towards the end of January 2023. Upon digging around a little, I found listings and images of the new packaging on EB Games Australia’s website as well as JB Hi-Fi’s website. For those not familiar with them, EB Games is a multinational video games retailer and JB Hi-Fi is one of Australia’s largest retailers for home entertainment products. The listings are still up at the time of this writing.
According to EB Games, the bundle will release on February 3rd. However, JB Hi-Fi claims it’ll release on January 31st. In Australia, it’ll cost AUD 894 for the disc version. For reference, a standard unit (following last year’s price increase) costs AUD 799 and one DualSense costs AUD 109 via Sony’s online store.
Bear in mind that the bundle price is unofficial until Sony formally announces it.
