PlayStation has shared an official PSVR 2 unboxing video, showing what’s included inside the retail box. A number of accessories and cables accompany the headset, though some expected inclusions like a case or cleaning cloth are missing. At just over nine minutes in length, the PSVR 2 unboxing video offers a comprehensive look.

What’s inside the PSVR 2 box
The PSVR 2 box contains:
- PSVR 2 headset with attached USB-C cable.
- Two controllers.
- USB-C to USB-A cable.
- Wired earphones.
Those expecting a case to be included inside the box will be disappointed. The above components are all that’s included. Any additional accessories will have to be purchased separately.
The standard version of the PSVR 2 doesn’t come with any bundled games, either. However, there is a bundle that includes Horizon Call of the Mountain, one of the bigger games releasing on the platform at launch, and one that has recently gone “gold.”
If the launch line-up hasn’t impressed you, there are apparently over 100 PSVR 2 games currently in development, so maybe one of those will grab you.
For those biding their time and waiting for PSVR 2 reviews, thoughts and opinions from reviewers are still under embargo. Expect to see those in the build-up to the February 22 launch.
