Hogwarts Legacy Slytherin

Slytherin Is Hogwarts Legacy’s Most Popular House So Far

Out of the four Houses in Hogwarts Legacy, it looks like Slytherin is beating out Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, and Gryffindor according to the latest trophy stats on PS5. While the trophies for the game doesn’t precisely track how many people have selected a particular House during the Sorting Hat cutscene, they do provide a percentage of people who have reached a fairly early point in the game as a member of each House.

Hogwarts Legacy Hufflepuff is the least popular House so far

A set of four trophies in Hogwarts Legacy specifically tracks players who have completed the Map Chamber quest, which is relatively early in the main story. According to data on PSN Profiles, here is a breakdown of the percentage of players who have earned these trophies based on their chosen House:

  • Slytherin – 5.00% (The Toast of the Town trophy)
  • Gryffindor – 3.92% (The Gryffindor in the Graveyard trophy)
  • Ravenclaw – 3.11% (The Wise Owl trophy)
  • Hufflepuff – 2.03% (The Auror’s Apprentice trophy)

That said, there are more than a few caveats. Hogwarts Legacy is still in early access on PS5, so this is just a small sample size compared to the much larger pool of players that will begin the game on its standard release date of February 10.

It could also be that players who choose Slytherin are more inclined to play the game early or finish it more quickly, which might skew the data. (I mean, Slytherin is all about being ambitious, right?)

At any rate, this provides an early snapshot of the popularity of each House in the game. We might get more information on House popularity in the game from Avalanche Software in an infographic at a later date.
